Who says “I’m sorry” first?

The ladies at The Real spoke about who should say sorry first the other day. Tamera mentioned that many times she apologises to just keep the peace. While I have also done this before, I am not really a fan of it.

My problem with apologising for the sake of peace is that you are essentially just telling me to shut up in a polite manner instead of taking responsibility for making me feel the way I do and engaging with me on why whatever you did is a problem for me and how we can avoid it happening in the future.
