Share Your Concerns!

Time for a little pep talk with uncle Richie.

Things become a bit too much at times. I’m looking back at the exam season that just passed and I realise that opening up about how I felt during the whole exam period has helped me a great deal.

I have always kept to myself over the years. When I am going through a hard time, I keep it to myself and go through it alone. Moving out of home has forced me to be more open as my mother is far away and reading moods/feelings over the phone is not really possible with me.

I’ve learnt that I shouldn’t keep my fears, hopes and anxieties to myself. I am teaching myself to open up and share my emotions and verbalise my frustrations. It has helped me to put things into perspective and I also feel less lonely.

It works for me, hopefully it will work for you too.
