Rich Mnisi named Young Designer of the Year

Rich Mnisi was named Young Designer of the Year at the annual Africa Fashion Awards on Sunday. His collection, OATH, managed to impress the judges at the showcase for the AFI Fastrqack incubation at the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Africa which was held on Saturday. The young designer had this to say about his win:

“I am so humbled and blessed to have won AFI Young Designer of the Year last night. Competition was tight. I was up against the raddest Tuelo, Jessica and Naazneen!!!!! Thanks to African Fashion International (AFI) for the amazing opportunity and for believing in us and for continuously supporting and mentoring young designers.”
