Question To Self: “What Do I Want To Achieve?”

“The most important thing about goals is having one.” – Geoffrey F. Albert

I always struggle with these posts because I don’t want to sound superficial. Anyway, lets get into it!

This week we are focusing on goals. Many times people live from day to day doing the same old thing and saying the same old things to the same old people and when you ask them what they are working towards… a salary at the end of the month.

For the most part this is true for all of us, but beyond that one has to live and work to be fulfilled. Fulfilment comes from doing the things that you have set out to do and that you are extremely passionate about. Doing and achieving anything wont come from sitting in the same gut and being stuck in the same old routine.

My goal at the beginning of the year was creating a strong foundation on which I will build all my dreams and despite things not always going according to plan, I have managed to reach most of my goals. My blog is receiving an impressive amount of views and I have managed to make some incredible contacts. All my plans have been put in place and now I am gearing up for the rollercoaster ride called execution. It won’t be easy, but the goal is set.

We have to set goals and work towards realising them otherwise everyday is the same as the next and after much time has passed, you realise what you could’ve done, but didn’t. What you could’ve achieved but didn’t. So let this be our thought for the week. What do I want to achieve? What do I have to do to achieve it?

Have a great week!
