I’m Giving Kelly Khumalo One Last Chance To Stop Breaking My Heart

I am a huge Kelly Khumalo fan. I truly believe she is one of South Africa’s best vocalists. But like most gifted artists Kelly’s career has not been without controversy.

With each negative story of Kelly published there is always a follow-up cover story where she clears her name and with each one I have forgiven her. This time the controversy was with her falling pregnant by Senzo Meyiwa who is married, and just as before there is a cover story where she tells her side of the story – this time with True Love.

Kelly Khumalo TRUE LOVE Magazine

In the piece she talks about how much joy motherhood has brought her and how she is more relaxed this time as her first child, Christian was a good learning experience for her. She then goes on to speak about how much she loves Senzo and says that she did not know that he was married when he made advances which ultimately led to them having a relationship. She also goes on to talk about the incident with Mandisa – saying that she followed Senzo in order to get to the bottom of things. What is shocking is that Kelly is not ashamed of the whole ordeal – even going as far as confessing her love for Senzo multiple times.

While she looks great on the cover and in the spread, I wish Kelly would just get back to focussing on her career. This cover does not serve her any good and could have been so much better if she had an album or a single out. I am giving Kelly one last chance (I said this the last time) to stop breaking my heart and start reeling me in with her talent again.

Check out this video of the Kelly that I love singing I Live For Love on Expresso last year below. Such talent!
