Fashion At The American Music Awards!

The AMA’s took place last night and the world was yawning abuzz! Here are the best and not-so-best dressed of the night in my book.

The best dressed…

Country star Carrie Underwood looked elegant in a burgundy high-neck Aded Mahfouz gown.

Carrie Underwood is definitely my best dressed for the night. She wore a beautiful burgundy/lilac high-neck Aded Mahfouz gown. Simple translates to elegance here!

Gwen Stefani, with signature red lips and blonde hair, pulled off a daring Balmain ensemble.

Gwen Stefani rocked an oversized embellished Balmain jacket and kept the rest op the outfit tastefully simple.

R&B goddess Kelly Rowland donned a Naeem Khan embroidered dress.

Kelly Rowland showed up in a beautiful, but expectedly safe Naeem Khan embroided dress.

Taylor Swift gave Zuhair Murad another incredible red carpet moment, in this longsleeve number.

Country superstar Taylor Swift wore a long-sleeved beaded Zuhair Murad dress.

And now the not-so-best dressed…

Kerry Washington gets best-dressed in this yellow lace longsleeve Stella McCartney dress.

Kerri Washington made me doubt whether my taste in fashion is as on-par as I think it is when she came out in this yellow ensemble that was wearing her instead of the other way around.

Christina Aguilera debuted a new shorter 'do, while showing some cleavage in a Pamella Roland dress.

Christina Aguilera showed up in a ombre Pamella Rowland gown. It looks like a continuation of her Halloween costume.

'American Idol' alum Jordin Sparks was all-smiles in a floor-length printed Etro dress.

Jordin Sparks disappointed me with this mess of a dress by Etro. I would have loved to see her in a dress that showed off her new hot body instead of making her appear larger.

Nicki Minaj wore a white costume for her performance.

The rest was a huge yawn. None of the A-list celebs were there so there was really nothing exciting about the awards. Lets hope Beyonce attends next year!
